Locked on Falcons Podcast: Show’s Future and Sarkisian’s Changes

Locked on Falcons

I am back to discuss the recent and future changes to the podcast given the departure of my longtime co-host Allen Strk, as well as what I expect we’ll see from a Falcons offense led by new coordinator Steve Sarkisian in 2017. First up, I address the questions surrounding Allen’s departure, followed by my tentative plans about the format of the show between now and the draft. Then I jump headlong into speculations about the changes to personnel groupings we can expect to see from Steve Sarkisian this year, de-emphasizing the fullback position in favor of more multi-tight end and three-wide receiver sets. How those changes might affect the workloads of Levine Toilolo, Austin Hooper, Taylor Gabriel and others is also discussed.

If you’re curious about where I found all that personnel grouping info, you can check out this link: http://www.sharpfootballstats.com/personnel-grouping-frequency.html
