Adam Patrick Replogle was born on October 10, 1990 and graduated from Centerville (OH) High School. He started the final 11 games at defensive tackle as a true freshman at Indiana University, appearing in 12 total. He also worked at fullback in the final 3 games. He finished the year with 32 tackles, 5 for loss, and 4 sacks. His sophomore year, he started all 12 games, including 4 at defensive end and 8 at tackle. He recorded 32 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and 1 pass broken up. He started all 12 games as a junior at defensive tackle, recording 49 tackles, 7 for loss, 4 sacks, 2 pass breakups, and 1 forced fumbles. He started all 12 games at defensive tackle as a senior, finishing the year with career highs of 71 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and 5 sacks. He also had a pair of forced fumbles and a recovery for the year. He earned Academic All-Big Ten honors his final three years at Indiana and 1st team Academic All-American his senior year. He also earned 2nd team All-Big Ten honors as a senior. He also was a finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, widely considered the Academic Heisman. He was originally signed by the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2013.
