Blidi Bertrand Wreh-Wilson was born on December 5, 1989 in Malden, PA. He attedned General McLane High in Edinboro, PA before enrolling at the University of Connecticut. As a redshirt freshman at UConn, he started nine of 13 games at cornerback. He finished the season with 40 tackles, one interception and six pass breakups. He started all 13 games as a sophomore, tallying 57 tackles, one tackle for loss, four interceptions returned for two scores, five pass breakups and a fumble recovery. As a junior he started seven of eight games, missing five due to a knee injury. He finished the season with 37 tackles, two for loss, 0.5 sacks, two interceptions and seven pass breakups. As a senior he started all 11 games, finishing the year wiht 47 tackles, one interception and nine pass breakups on his way to second-team All-Big East honors. He was originally selected by the Tennessee Titans in the third round (70th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.
