Jacques Rashaud McClendon was born on December 10, 1987 in Cleveland, TN where he graduated from Walker Valley High after attended the Baylor School in Chattanooga, TN. As a freshman at Tennessee, he played in 12 games and started at right guard in the bowl game finale that season. He would start 6 out of 13 games as a sophomore at right guard. He would again start 6 games at right guard as a junior, appearing in 11 total. As a senior, he would start all 13 games at right guard. He would earned Academic All-SEC honors as a sophomore, junior, and season. He was originally selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the 4th round (129th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft.
