Sharrod Tyneal Neasman was born on October 14, 1992 in Sarasota, FL and graduated from Braden River High in Bradenton, FL. He sat out a year following high school to earn money and then walked onto Florida Atlantic’s squad the following year, appearing in 10 games as a reserve and earning 11 tackles and one forced fumble. He appeared in eight games as a reserve as a sophomore, recording five tackles. He tore his ACL and missed the final two games of the year. He returned as a junior, logging three starts at nickel cornerback while appearing in 12 games. He finished the year with 60 tackles, three tackles for loss, two interceptions, three passes defended and one forced fumble. He moved to strong safety as a senior and started all 12 games there. He finished the year with 74 tackles, three interceptions and four passes defended. Originally signed by the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2016 NFL Draft.
