Player Information

He was born on October 17, 1981 in Knoxville, TN where he attended Farragut High before enrolling at Wake Forest. He played in 10 games as a true freshman, and started one game at right guard. He became the starting left tackle as a sophomore, seeing action in 11 games. As a junior, he moved to left guard, and was given All-ACC honorable mention honors. As a senior, he saw action at every position on the offensive line except center and earned 1st team All-ACC honors. He was originally an undrafted rookie free agent with the Denver Broncos in 2004. He played with the Hamburg Sea Devils of NFL Europe in 2005, starting 10 games at right tackle and earning All-League honors. Added to NFC Pro Bowl squad in 2010 as an injury replacement.
