Tyson Graham, Jr. was born on December 20, 1993 and attended Highlands Christian Academy in Pompano Beach, FL. As a redshirt freshman he started three of 12 games at wide receiver, finishing with just one reception for 37 yards. He also played on special teams where he recorded five tackles. As a sophomore he moved to free safety, where he started nine of 12 games. He led the team with 97 tackles, adding 0.5 tackles for loss, one interception and seven pass breakups. As a junior he started 10 of 11 games at free safety, recording 71 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions, three pass breakups and one forced fumble. He also earned All-Missouri Valley Football Conference honorable mention honors. As a senior he started nine games at linebacker, recording 60 tackles, five for loss, three sacks, one pass breakup and one fumble recovery. He was originally signed by Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent after the 2017 NFL Draft.
