John Clayton of ESPN.com reports that the Falcons have agreed to a two-year deal with prospective free agent Chris Redman, only minutes before the start of 2010 free agency signing period. Per the report, the deal is worth $5.6 million.
Redman started two games this past season as an injury fill-in for Matt Ryan. He finished the season with 781 yards, completing 58% of his 119 pass attempts, with 4 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
