Robinson visiting Falcons on Friday

March 5th, 2010

First reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter via Twitter and confirmed by the AJC’s D. Orlando Ledbetter, free agent cornerback Dunta Robinson is set to meet with the Falcons this afternoon.

More than likely, it means that Robinson should eventually become a Falcon, as initially predicted by several insiders. In 2008, the Falcons wined and dined Michael Turner over the course an entire weekend, and wound up landing him as their top free agent target. Historically since Arthur Blank has been the owner of the Falcons, when free agents visit Atlanta they don’t manage to leave without being inked to a contract.
