The Detroit Lions announced today their trade for Falcons cornerback Chris Houston, and in it indicated that the terms of the trade were different from earlier reports. Instead of the Falcons and Lions swapping fifth round picks, the Falcons received a conditional seventh round pick in 2011. Still a part of the deal was the Lions trading their 2010 sixth round pick.
J. Michael Moore of Atlanta Falcons.com reports that the team has confirmed the revision to the deal. The exact conditions of the 2011 pick aren’t known yet, but are likely tied to playing time.
