FALCONS STATISTICAL PROJECTIONS

PASSING
Matt Ryan – 585 att., 365 comp., 62.4%, 4510 yds, 33 TDs, 15 INTs, 94.3 rating

Ryan will put up career highs in nearly all categories and will be in the running for a Pro Bowl season.

RUSHING
Michael Turner – 235 att., 975 yds, 4.1 avg, 10 TDs; 20 rec., 185 yds, 9.3 avg, 2 TDs
Jacquizz Rodgers – 85 att., 360 yds, 4.2 avg, 1 TD; 30 rec., 295 yds, 9.8 avg, 3 TDs
Jason Snelling – 65 att., 260 yds, 4.0 avg, 1 TD; 20 rec., 175 yds, 8.8 avg, 1 TD

Turner will still get the brunt of the carries and fall just shy of 1000 yards.

RECEIVING
Roddy White – 95 rec., 1225 yds, 12.9 avg, 8 TDs
Julio Jones – 75 rec., 1240 yds, 16.5 avg, 8 TDs
Tony Gonzalez – 65 rec., 710 yds, 10.9 avg, 7 TDs
Harry Douglas – 40 rec., 490 yds, 12.3 avg, 2 TDs
Michael Palmer – 15 rec., 135 yds, 9.0 avg, 1 TD

While Jones will surpass Roddy in touchdowns, Roddy will still be the No. 1 receiver this year.

KICKING
Matt Bryant – 48 for 48 PAT, 24 for 28 FG, 120 pts

PUNTING
Matt Bosher – 70 punts, 43.1 avg, 37.4 net

RETURNS
Harry Douglas – 27 PR, 8.7 avg, 0 TD
Jacquizz Rodgers – 21 KOR, 22.1 avg, 0 TD

Due to Douglas’ work on offense, I suspect Toone will get the brunt of the work as the punt returner.

DEFENSE
Sean Weatherspoon – 130 tackles, 4 sacks, 1 INT, 2 FF
Akeem Dent – 90 tackles, 1 sack, 2 INTs, 1 FF
Thomas DeCoud – 90 tackles, 1 sack, 3 INTs, 2 FF
William Moore – 75 tackles, 1 sack, 2 INTs, 2 FF
Dunta Robinson – 65 tackles, 2 sack, 2 INT
Brent Grimes – 60 tackles, 3 INT
Stephen Nicholas – 45 tackles, 1 sack, 1 INT, 1 FF
Asante Samuel – 45 tackles, 3 INTs
Ray Edwards – 35 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 1 INT
Chris Hope – 35 tackles
John Abraham – 30 tackles, 8.5 sacks, 4 FF
Jonathan Babineaux – 30 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 INT, 1 FF
Mike Peterson – 30 tackles, 1 INT
Kroy Biermann – 25 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 1 FF
Peria Jerry – 25 tackles, 1 sack, 1 FF
Lawrence Sidbury – 20 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 1 FF
Chris Owens – 20 tackles, 1 sack
Corey Peters – 15 tackles, 1 sack
Vance Walker – 15 tackles
Travian Robertson – 10 tackles

Weatherspoon will earn his first Pro Bowl berth this year. Thomas DeCoud will also be in the running as well for a Pro Bowl year.
