Vick to be arraigned at start of camp

Per an AJC report, Michael Vick is set to be arraigned at 4 pm in a federal court in Richmond, Virginia on July 26, the same day that practices for training camp kick off for the Falcons. The first Falcons practice is scheduled for 3:00 in the afternoon, with Vick set to appear for a bond hearing at 3:30. It seems as a result, that it is nearly impossible that Vick will report on time to training camp.

The Falcons already issued a preliminary statement Tuesday evening, but may release a second statement later today.

I am sure 6 years in prison for Vick would provide some of the same treatment that child molesters receive while there. No such sick human being should be allowed to play for any team or recognized as a sports figure. I only hope they throw the book at him–studies show that cruelty to animals is a precursor to murderers. LOCK HIM AWAY

  2. Vick’s behavior is some of the most vile and disgusting-he is no role model for anyone. I hope his punishment fits his crime. Maybe the Falcon’s will show some class and release him.
